The Australian Cattle Dog is a medium sized Pastoral dog developed in Australia for driving cattle.
They are muscular and very athletic dogs which have an abundance of energy. Intelligent and quite independent the Australian Cattle Dog is a hard working dog, is usually of 2 prime colours, blue or red closely interspersed with white and grey hairs. Being a cattle dog they need lots of exercise and mental stimulation as they are used to having challenges to meet on a daily basis.
