The Belgian Shepherd Dog is a large Pastoral dog also known as the Laekenois. They are athletic, strong, very intelligent, affectionate and loyal.
The Belgian Sheppard dog is good with children providing they are introduced to them at a young age and develop very strong bonds with their owners making them loyal and protective family pets. They are known for being highly trainable and enjoying mental stimulation and having tasks to perform. The Laekenois has a woolly brown and white coat giving it a tweedy appearance.
