Dog Breeds - Black and Tan Coonhound
The Black and Tan Coonhound is a large sized breed of Hound dog which was developed puposly for hunting raccoons but due to thier adaptability were also used for hunting deer and bears.
They are very good family pets although tend to be seen more in rural than urban areas. The Black and Tan Coonhound does require a good deal of mental and physical stimulation and like to be given asks to do to keep them happy. they also have a very keen sense of smell and thus can often be very easily disrtacted.
