Dog Breeds - German Shepherd Dog (Alsatian)
The German Shepherd Dog or Alsatian is a large Pastoral dog which originates from Germany. They are incredibly strong, agile and obedient and as such are often used as police and security dogs.
The German Shepherd Dog does have a tendency towards being aggressive and can attack smaller dogs and have attacked people on occasion. They do bond well with children they are familiar with but need to be trained well as they can be very strong willed.
