The Greyhound is a large breed of hound, bred for hunting and racing. It is the fastest breed of dog which can reach speeds of almost 45mph.
The Grey hound is an intelligent breed and quite affectionate towards their owners. Despite being very fast sprinters, actually require only a little exercise a day and due to their increasing popularity have become quite a regular show dog and household pet aside from racing.
