The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla originated in Hungary in the 1930's, originally as an attempt to create a Vizsla with more weatherproof coat although later other breeds were used to further develop the dog.
The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla is a medium sized gundog, it is eager to learn and can be trained well if done in a gentle but firm approach.
