Dog Breeds - Irish Terrier

The Irish Terrier is a medium sized Terrier of unknown origin. They are very energetic dogs although not hyperactive and get on with people very well.

They require a firm hand when it comes to training and need an owner who is authoritative and so not recommended as a first time pet. The Irish Terrier tends to be a dominant dog amongst others and is very intelligent, being able to learn new tasks relatively easily.
