The Japanese Shiba Inu is a medium sized Utility breed of dog originally bred for hunting in Japan and suits mountainous terrain very well.
They are a very intelligent breed and training them can be quite difficult. The Japanese Shiba Inu has a very distinctive scream which is usually only seen when the dog is either very happy or very unhappy, depending on the context.
