The Long Haired Dachshund is bred in 2 different sizes and then in 3 different varieties but all essentially fall into the same category.
The differences are the standard size and miniature and then smooth, long and wire haired varieties. The Long Haired Dachshund is very devoted to its owners and likes the chase, weather it be small animals, birds or even tennis balls.
Long Haired Dachshund's are know for being very playful but also relatively hard to train. They are a very popular breed of particularly with those living in apartments.
