Dog Breeds - Manchester Terrier

The Manchester Terrier is a medium sized Terrier developed by John Hulme in the early 1800's for hunting rats and rabbit coursing.

They are very intelligent and eager to learn dogs, making them relatively easy to train and have done very well in obedience skills. The Manchester Terrier does require a lot of exercise as well as attention from their owners.
