The Portuguese Podengo is a small Hound used for hunting rabbits in rocky areas. Aside from being hardy workers they are very good with the family and socialise well with adults and children.
The Portuguese Podengo can be found either smooth coated or with a wire coat as well as in small, medium and large sizes. They enjoy digging, jumping, running around have excellent agility. they are also very loyal and make great companions.
