The Sloughi is a large Hound from the sighthound family. They are very sensitive and like to be kept close to their owners.
They have very keen vision and are highly efficient hunters. The Sloughi is very gentle, affectionate and loyal. They do require a lot of space around them and can be quite edgy which makes them not ideal for leaving around children although they generally do train well.
