The Welsh Corgis a medium sized Pastoral dog bred for herding and it does so by nipping the ankles of cattle or livestock that it is herding.

They are very loyal dogs which require daily physical and mental stimulation. The Welsh Corgi is able to live in small houses or apartments as they are only small themselves in size but do need a surprising amount of exercise to compensate. They are one of the oldest herding breeds known.
