The Whippet is a medium sized Hound from the sighthound family which comes in a large variety of colours due to their colour being immaterial when it is judged at shows.
They are gentle dogs as well as being very active and playful. Known for being outstandingly good racing dogs, they do need a good deal of exercise and plenty of space to run around in.
